What's in Dr. Camille's Bag?
What does a doctor mom carry with her every day? Some of these things might surprise you, others maybe wont!
My bag: I love a backpack style bag for two reasons. First, it is big and I can fit in lots of stuff. I can stow a book and a water bottle and still have room for all my other goodies. Second, it distributes the weight evenly on my back. No sore neck or shoulder after carrying it around all day.
Tissues and a first aid kit: My kids need kleenexes more than seem humanly possible. Enough said there. And you never know when you will absolutely need a bandaid or a hand wipe.
Hand sanitizer, lip balm and lotion: I spring for natural products for all three of these. It is important to me that we limit our exposure to endocrine disrupting products. I trust Olivu, Earth Mama, and Doterra along with many other brands. This just happens to be what I had in my purse today.
Sun glasses: I am so excited that I just got myself a nice new pair of sunglasses. I love the way they look, and I love that I can trust them to protect my eyes.
Supplements: This can change depending on what part of the body I need to support. Today I have Zypan and Cortisol Pro in my bag. Zypan supports my digestive system with each meal and Cortisol Pro I take when I feel stressed or that mid afternoon slump coming on. And let me tell you, it has been a game changer for me!
Snacks: If you have been in the office, you have seen the fig bars. Kids love them! I have two in my bag today - a rookie mistake. I have three kids, so I will have to grab another one STAT!
Books: Again, this can change based on my interests or where we are going. Today I have my 2021 planner and my gratitude journal. Both keep me grounded and on task.
What do you keep in your bag? I’d love to chat about any of your favorites next time you’re in the office!
