My birth story
From trauma to triumph.
After my traumatic C-section with my first baby, I thought I might never have another child. The experience left me questioning everything about my body’s ability to birth naturally. After hours of trying to get things moving, followed by an urgent C-section, I wept when I held my daughter for the first time, not just from joy, but from the trauma of the experience.
But through chiropractic care, optimal nutrition, movement, and the Webster Technique, my story completely changed. I went on to give birth to a 10-pound baby boy without any pain medication, and I felt completely invigorated by that experience.
If you’ve had a traumatic birth and you’re scared to try again, I understand that fear intimately. If this is your first pregnancy and you want to prepare your body for the most positive experience possible, I’m here to guide you.
Why your spine matters
Your body changes. Your spine and pelvis feel it.
During pregnancy your center of gravity shifts, hormones relax your ligaments, and your growing baby puts new demands on your spine and pelvis. Common pregnancy discomforts include:
Lower back pain and sciatica
Hip and pelvic pain
Round ligament pain
Pubic symphysis dysfunction
Neck and shoulder tension
Headaches
Carpal tunnel symptoms
Heartburn and digestive discomfort
When your pelvis is well balanced, it supports space for your baby to grow and settle into a good position for birth. It’s not just about comfort during pregnancy, it’s about setting the stage for a smoother labor and delivery.
Webster Technique certified
Care focused on the mother’s pelvis.
Dr. Camille is Webster Technique certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). It is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that focuses on mom’s pelvis, helping restore pelvic balance and function. That matters for your comfort and for giving baby room to settle into a good position for birth.
What is it? A specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment that reduces the effects of sacral subluxation and SI joint dysfunction, supporting neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis.
