Non-Invasive Shockwave Therapy for Pain Relief

Now available at Early Beginnings Chiropractic · Cedarburg, WI

Stubborn Pain. Remarkable Results.

Radial Shockwave Therapy is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment proven to restart your body’s natural healing process, effective for chronic pain conditions that haven’t responded to other care.

When nothing else has worked, there’s a reason.

Many chronic pain conditions stop responding to traditional care because the underlying tissue has stopped healing on its own. Radial Shockwave Therapy works differently, it sends targeted acoustic energy deep into the soft tissue to create a new healing response where the body had given up.

  • You’ve been dealing with pain for months — or years
  • You’ve tried rest, stretching, or injections and nothing has lasted
  • You want to avoid surgery or long-term medication
  • Your injury feels stuck and isn’t getting better on its own
  • You want a treatment with strong clinical research behind it

What is Radial Shockwave Therapy?

Radial Shockwave Therapy uses compressed air impulses to deliver high-energy acoustic waves through the skin and deep into soft tissue. The waves create a controlled microtrauma in the affected area, which triggers your body’s natural healing response, stimulates blood flow, builds new blood vessels, and releases bio-chemicals that accelerate tissue repair.

  • Non-invasive: no needles, no surgery, no medication
  • No recovery time, you can return to daily activity immediately
  • Sessions run 15 minutes
  • Most conditions require just one session per week
  • Studies show a 72–80% success rate across chronic soft tissue conditions

Simple. Focused. Effective.

Step 1 Consultation

We’ll review your history, assess the affected area, and confirm whether shockwave is the right tool for what you’re dealing with. We’ll also look at how your nervous system may be contributing to the issue, because we don’t treat symptoms in isolation.

Step 2 Treatment

We apply ultrasound gel to the area and use a handheld applicator to deliver shockwave pulses in a slow motion. Most patients describe it as a deep pulsing pressure. Some discomfort is normal during the session, and mild soreness for a day or two afterward is common, similar to a hard workout.

Step 3 Results

Most patients notice meaningful improvement within their first few sessions. Conditions typically require one session per week. We’ll monitor your progress throughout and adjust as needed.

Shockwave therapy at Early Beginnings is currently offered on Wednesday afternoons. Reach out to learn about availability.
