January has been all about explaining what a new kind of doctor looks like and why wellness focused chiropractic care is different from seeing a provider only when something hurts. Let’s talk about one of the most common questions we receive, our monthly maintenance plan: who is it for, how it is different from wellness care, and why it exists.
Our maintenance plan was created for families who want ongoing support, accountability, and access to a holistic doctor without committing to a full restorative or wellness care plan right now.
What Is the Monthly Maintenance Plan
The monthly maintenance plan allows individuals and families to receive chiropractic adjustments on a monthly basis with simple automatic billing. We offer family-tiered pricing so the more family members you include, the more you save.
While monthly visits are the baseline, you are always welcome to come in more frequently if needed. We simply prorate those additional visits so you continue to receive savings. This plan also includes an annual exam and neurological scan, which gives us a valuable opportunity to check in on how your nervous system is functioning, determine if additional care would be beneficial, and decide if any labs or further support would be helpful.
For many busy families, having something already on the schedule creates consistency and helps shift care from reactive to proactive.
How Maintenance Care Is Different From Wellness Care
Wellness chiropractic care is progressive. This is where families are making noticeable gains week by week. The nervous system is adapting, resilience is increasing, and health continues to expand over time. Ideally, wellness care includes visits every one to two weeks, which allows us to prevent long term joint restriction and support optimal movement and function in the spine.
Maintenance care is different. Maintenance is about holding what you already have. It supports stability, accountability, and ongoing access to care, but it is not designed to create the same level of neurological change as wellness care.
That said, maintenance care still plays an important role. It gives you a consistent touch point with a doctor who looks at your health holistically, supports lifestyle and nutrition choices, and helps your body function better through regular adjustments.
Who Benefits Most From Maintenance Care
Maintenance care is ideal for generally healthy, busy families who want support but cannot commit time or budget to more frequent care right now. It is also a great option for families who want to establish care with a different kind of doctor and value having someone in their corner when questions or concerns arise.
This plan helps prevent the cycle of waiting until pain or dysfunction becomes severe. Instead of throwing out your back, missing activities with your kids, or struggling through daily tasks, maintenance care allows us to notice small changes early and adjust proactively.
It is also a wonderful option after completing a restorative care plan. Maintenance helps protect the progress you worked hard to achieve and reduces the likelihood of old issues returning under stress.
Supporting Growing Kids, Hormones, and Immune Health
Maintenance care is especially helpful for children as they grow. Growth spurts can bring back old patterns like growing pains, coordination challenges, or sleep disruptions. Monthly care allows us to stay ahead of these changes and add additional support when needed.
Adults working on hormone balance also benefit from maintenance care. Regular adjustments help support communication between the nervous system and hormone producing glands, contributing to better regulation and long term function.
Maintenance care also makes it easy to respond quickly when something comes up, such as an illness, fall, or sudden discomfort. Because you are already established in care, scheduling extra support is simple and stress free.
Choosing the Right Plan for Your Family

Wellness care remains my best recommendation for families looking to build resilience, improve function, and see continued progress over time. Many families choose wellness care and love watching their health grow year after year.
Maintenance care exists to offer flexibility, accessibility, and sustainability. Both options are valuable. The most important thing is staying consistent and continuing to invest in your health rather than slipping back into old habits.
Whether you are ready for a restorative plan, wellness care, or monthly maintenance, we would love to support you and your family. Let’s keep moving forward together and build health that lasts.
