Dr. Camille's 5 Top Tips for Stress Relief

natural stress relief

Read on for my tips to staying calm, cool, and collected no matter the season.

1. Exercise - You don't have to go to the gym. Just move your body intentionally! Go for a walk, stretch, do online yoga videos, dance with your kids. Movement is life, so keep moving.

2. Fruits and Veggies - Full of powerful antioxidants that protect our cells from the effects of stress.

If your kid eating fruits & veggies sounds like a pipe dream, consider NutriDyn’s Fruits & Greens drink mix as a yummy alternative. We have samples in the office if you’d like to try before you buy.

Want even more bang for your buck?  Try juicing.  It’s a delightful way to add more veggies to your diet.  Bonus: Kids don't realize they are drinking veggies when you have a sweeter recipe.

Check out the juicer we use in our home. It preserves nutrients, is easy to use, is dual function, and is very sturdy! We have been juicing with this bad boy for over 4 years!

3. Probiotics - Stress kills our microbiome. This makes us more susceptible to colds, bowl discomfort and general uneasiness. Replenish with a high quality probiotic. HERE is my recommendation.

If you have specific gut concerns, I’d love to sit down with you and give you personal recommendations.

4. Social Support - Our friends and family often keep us accountable, calm, and running.  Here is your friendly reminder to reach out to your support system!

Try to avoid texting as your main communication channel. Leave a voicemail or write the quickest note.

5. Body Work - Chiropractic adjustments, massage, and craniosacral work all help us regulate our nervous system. Since our nervous systems take the brunt of stress, it’s important to make sure you are well regulated.

Body work such as massage and chiropractic are not only soothing, they help your nervous system regulate stress.
